Unique Canadian Words & Phrases – thePlanetD
Dave & Deb from thePlanetD.com wrote a great post about the unique words and phrases Canadians use. If you are heading to Canada and have never been, you might want to go through this list. You don’t want to be that guy or girl who’s scratching your head when a Canadian asks “Where’s your tuque eh?” or “You ready to pound a 2-4 of Keiths?”
Dave and Deb are a Canadian adventure travel couple who’ve been on the road for years. They’ve hiked Mount Kilimanjaro, raced & placed extremely well in the Tour d’Afrique, followed the Head Hunter trails in Borneo and have been to over 30 countries. They’re next stop is Asia. Be sure to follow them on their travels.

My name is Corbin. I'm a 20-something guy from the flatlands of Canada. I'm currently a part time travel writer, web designer, and musician. I started this site in the hopes of learning a little more about where I come from. Somewhere along the way it decided to evolve into an independent travel guide for other backpackers interested in traveling Canada on a budget. Corbin,
I just scrolled down to the bottom of your site and saw that you take guest posts. The next time I write something about Canada, I will send it to you. It is far more fitting for your website. Cheers.
@Dave & Deb – That'd rock. Keep in touch, always looking for local views of what needs to be seen. Thanks again.
