If you’re commuting daily or you are preparing for a road trip, then you might find your journey at times stressful or boring, even if you have company. So, if you’re just looking to turn your long trip into a positive experience, our article might help you with that. Here, you will find fun activities that will enrich your journey and make your road trip more enjoyable.

Play Games

Unless you are driving a Tesla, it is practically impossible to drive and play your favorite titles on the road. But you have to take a break at some point, and why not use that break to have fun? Your tablet or smartphone should be loaded with new and modern games that will keep you entertained on the road.

Some of the options available are race games, puzzles, action games, and even mobile versions of famous video games. In case you are more interested in games of chance, then you’re in luck, as there are literally hundreds of new mobile casino  sites for Canadians available from your smartphone’s browser. So, you can try your luck with any casino games such as slots, baccarat, blackjack, roulette, and many other options.

Fun Activities for Your Road Trip

**Listen to Audiobooks **

If you find yourself traveling alone, then nothing will keep your company better than a good audiobook. Audiobooks are well-produced, and they are performed by award-winning actors. For example, the latest rendition of the Sandman by Neil Geiman had many A-listers that took part in that reading. Some of them are James McAvoy, Kate Dennings, and others.

Of course, you can find many different audiobooks ranging from thrillers and self-help books to classics and many other options. Some good apps to check out are Audible and Scribd.

Listen to Podcasts and Breakfast Shows

Moreover, you can also find podcasts that are entertaining and educational. You will even feel like the third person in the conversation, especially if you’re looking to listen to something that is enjoyable or intriguing for you.

As we live in the golden age of podcasts, there are literally hundreds of podcasts on every topic imaginable. You can listen to, for example, podcasts by celebrities like Unqualified, where listeners ask questions and they get unqualified advice from Anna Faris . Also, other options include listening to personal development podcasts, history, comedy, the latest news, tech innovations, and many other different subjects.

The episodes are different in length, and there are some that last at least a couple of hours and more while others just under a few minutes. Plus, you can download different podcast episodes on your smartphone and listen free of charge.

Another tip is to listen to the radio. We underestimate the power of radio shows, especially the breakfast shows that feature celebrity guests, a short overview of the news, and traffic. Of course, the quality of the radio show mainly depends on the anchors. If the anchor is entertaining enough, you again will feel less alone on your commute. For example, you can check out different stations that have good breakfast shows on apps like BBC Sounds or Spotify.

Get a Travel Itinerary Ready

You don’t want to waste any time when you reach your destination, so make sure to add any fun activities, events or locations that you want to visit. One of the actions of your travel list should be the local tourism office**. **It is basically their job to be familiar with any major events that are held in the city. They will also point you to free activities, discounts for tourists, safe modes of transportation, and the best attractions in the area. So, if you have any questions about reaching certain destinations, this is the best way to learn about the city and explore it.

150 Things To Do In Canada

I'm pleased to announce my first ebook is available on Amazon Kindle. In honour of Canada's 150th Anniversary, I wanted to highlight my favourite things to do in each province and territory across Canada.

This ebook is super affordable as this is my first attempt at an ebook, and I'm hoping it will encourage people to flip through it before their summer travels across Canada. Please leave a positive review if you find it useful! I'm pulling late nights at the moment working on another ebook which is set to release before summer. Stay tuned!
