Sunday Canadian Travel Video - Full Mountie - Lonely Planet in Saskatchewan

Posted on November 6, 2011  •  1 minutes  • 171 words

It’s been a couple weeks since I’ve managed to find a video I wanted to share. Totally my bad, I’ve been pretty preoccupied trying to sort out the next couple months of my life. To say I’ve been busy would be the biggest understatement of the decade. Thankfully there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, and once I get through the next 6 weeks, my life will be a lot more simple. Or at least that’s the game plan. Ha! So this weeks video was shared to me on Facebook by the awesome folks at Tourism Saskatchewan . In this video Robert Reid (US Travel Editor for Lonely Planet ) travels to my hometown (Regina Saskatchewan) and finds out what it takes to be a Mountie. Robert, if you ever read this, high 5’s for this video and the awesome moustache. It gave me a solid guffaw. Be sure to watch & read more about Robert Reids adventures on his personal blog Reid On Travel . <img src="http://ibackpackcanada.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/sunday-canadian-travel-video.jpg" title="sunday-canadian-travel-video">

150 Things To Do In Canada

I'm pleased to announce my first ebook is available on Amazon Kindle. In honour of Canada's 150th Anniversary, I wanted to highlight my favourite things to do in each province and territory across Canada.

This ebook is super affordable as this is my first attempt at an ebook, and I'm hoping it will encourage people to flip through it before their summer travels across Canada. Please leave a positive review if you find it useful! I'm pulling late nights at the moment working on another ebook which is set to release before summer. Stay tuned!
