Insane good food!
Each province offers unique experiences for everyone. Depending on the city that a person visits, they may find their dinner plates filled with the freshest salmon, scallops, poutine, or lobster. Wine is another well-kept secret in Canada and the vineyards there produce amazing white and red wines that can complement any meal.
Islands, wildlife, and rainforests
Eighty kilometers west of British Columbia is where people will find the four hundred and fifty islands that make up Haida Gwaii. Amongst all of the rainforests, visitors will find themselves spotting bald eagles, bears and more, while offshore they will see sea lions, whales, orcas, and sea lions. The bottom third of the islands is where the Gwaii Haanas National Park can be found and that is where almost everyone who is visiting the islands spends their time. However, it is not easy to reach the park and people are encouraged to plan their trip there in advance to avoid disappointment.
Oceans, Mountains, Lakes
The ocean and the mountains are two of the most prominent features within Vancouver. The city is filled with restaurants, boutiques, and nightlife too. People visiting this city will be able to ski during the morning hours, since the mountains are only a short drive away and spend time on the beach or in of the more popular neighborhoods in the afternoon and evening. No one will find a better place to hang out in Vancouver than Stanley Park. This 404-hectare park is a national historic site filled with monuments and sculptures. Visitors can also see some of the more famous landmarks including Lost Lagoon, Siwash Rock, the Hollow Tree, Beaver Lake, and Prospect Point.
World Famous Niagara Falls
Most people have heard of Niagara Falls and many of these people have formed their opinion of the city even if they have not been there. However, there is nothing more magnificent than watching the water pour over the falls during the day and at night. While the lights have been on at night for years, they have finally been changed to LED lights which makes the colors brighter. The Maid of the Mist takes tourists under the falls on a daily basis, so that they can see the wonders up close and personal. Adjacent to the falls are a number of souvenir shops and restaurants as well as a casino that was built where the Maple Leaf Village amusement park used to be.
Art, Culture, and Outdoors
Anyone who loves art, culture and nature will want to venture out on the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia. People drive along the trail, so no one has to worry about having to walk it all. As people are going along the winding roads, they have views of the water, mountains and bald eagles flying above. On the southeastern section of the trail, people will find numerous artists’ workshops that are filled with pottery, leather, glass, and other items from the Mi’kmaw and Acadian cultures. Besides stopping at the workshops, travelers are also encouraged to get out and stretch their legs at a number of hiking trails that pop up along the way. Canada is a beautiful country where people can spend quite a bit of time outdoors. If a person has an opportunity to go to Canada, they should go and see as much as possible in the time that they have available. However, our recommendation is that people take a long vacation and venture from one side of the country to the other in order to see everything that this wonderful country has to offer.
