Applicants must submit a video explaining why they should be selected, in addition to filling out a quick questionnaire. Adventure-seekers can submit their applications at www.WoodsExplorer.ca between April 1st and April 22nd, 2016. This is a tremendous opportunity to test your physical strength and mental fortitude. The challenges will be tough, but the experiences will be second to none. This is truly a unique opportunity to experience some of the most rugged and beautiful parts of Canada.
Participate and Cheer On Contestants
Canadians can vote and follow the adventure and cheer for their favourite contestants. Canadians will have a chance to help select the 12 competitors through online voting at www.WoodsExplorer.ca from April 29th until May 11th, 2016.

Personally I’m interested in seeing the Woods Big Cedar 4 person tent in use, and I’m hoping to see the Woods Expedition Canoe Seat in action. I’ve been having some back issues and the thought of being able to have a bit better posture while canoeing this summer seems like an awesome addition to my water chariot.
What are the contest dates?
The application for the contest will open at 12:01AM ET April 1, 2016 and ends at 5:59PM ET April 22, 2016.
Selected applicants from phase 1 will have their video uploaded to www.WoodsExplorer.ca for online voting. Voting opens at 9:01 AM ET April 29, 2016 and ends 5:59 PM ET May 11, 2016.
The 12 selected contestants must be available for filming from May 15, 2016 – June 25, 2016.
