Tiny Houses are all the rage these days. Simplifying your life, ditching the mortgage, and building something that truly fits your lifestyle. Granted, it’s not for everyone. Up until a few months ago I was trying to convince my wife that we should build one. While I lost that battle, my hope is that after we’ve stayed in one for a while she could see it working. Which got me thinking – where can I rent a Tiny House in Canada? Then it hit me – AirBNB!
Tiny House in Nelson BC
This cute little house is located in one of my favourite towns in BC. Featuring all of the typical offerings that Tiny houses provide, such as a shower, toilet, a small living space, all located on a quaint property. This property is located only a 6 minute drive from Nelsons downtown core. A superb spot to setup base while you tour this part of Canada.
Yurt in the Yukon
It’s rare I get to write about the Yukon. It seems unfair, because it’s such a beautiful part of Canada. This Yukon Yurt is a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of southern Canada. This Yurt truly lets you take in the rugged outdoors, while keeping some of the perks of “civilized” living.
Barrel Cabins in BC
At first I thought this was an old gypsy wagon. Turns out the cabins just paid homage to the wineries located nearby. Nothing says “I Love Wine” quite like passing out in a barrel. This unique property is near small lake and several hiking trails.
Cute Dome in Armstrong BC
While not your typical Tiny House, this 100 sq foot custom built dome hut is the perfect zen getaway. Wash away your stress in the adjacent hot tub, or meditate in the owners peaceful garden.
Victoria BC’s Tiny House on Tiny Farm
It’s clear that Tiny Houses have really taken off out in BC. There appears to be way more Tiny Houses in BC than anywhere else in Canada. This one in Victoria BC is no exception. Tucked into a corner of a small family farm, it’s the perfect place to decompress over a long weekend.
Quebecois Eco Tiny House
If you happen to be traveling through Quebec, this well crafted Tiny House is worth the detour. The loft style bed gives you extra space below for lounging around. And the property views appear fantastic!
